DAVID: LIFE & TIMES OF ISRAEL’S SECOND KING

Other than Jesus himself, there may not be a more widely recognized name in the biblical storyline than King David. This shepherd boy-turned-king did a lot of living in his day. His story contains tremendous successes and catastrophic failures. He lived long enough to see himself become the hero and the villain, a couple different times each.

But underneath all the pomp and circumstance, David was a regular person like the rest of us. God used him greatly, and God opposed him spectacularly. And through it all, there are lessons to be learned about what life with God looks like in the best and worst of times.

This story takes seven weeks to walk through some of the most significant moments in the life of David.
