Serving & Sacrificing
It shall not be so among you. But whoever would be great among you must be your servant, and whoever would be first among you must be your slave, even as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

In a world of power, self-advancement and rising to the top, the way of Jesus is about sacrificial service to others. The kingdom of God is an upside down kingdom. The way of Jesus is not the law of self, it’s the law of love - love for God and love for others. In the Kingdom of God, those who want to save their lives, will lose them. Those who want to be great, must become servants. Those who go last, will be made first. Those who give up their lives in love for God and love for others - are the ones who will have the truest and deepest joy available in Christ Jesus.
